Welcome to Golden Spiral Design!
The principals Julie Lundin and Abraham Wien formed GSD in 2006 with the intent to provide exemplary architecture and interior design services. Important to both; is to promote sustainability in the built environment and to create lasting relationships with their clients. Abraham and Julie each bring their own expertise and knowledge of environmental design, architecture, interior design, and sustainable design and practices. Their live-work studio is in a sustainably renovated auto garage. A former eyesore, now the building is a peaceful and sunny space to design, live and conduct business.
Julie Lundin
FOUNDER • PRINCIPAL • DIRECTOR INTERIOR DESIGN
Born and raised in Michigan, and a graduate of Michigan State University, Julie has called S. Florida home for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and professional certifications provided by NCIDQ, LEED AP ID+C, CHID, and WELL AP. She has extensive knowledge in all areas of the commercial design and construction process. She is passionate about sustainable design solutions in her projects that contribute to the health and wellbeing of building occupants and that reduce negative impacts on the environment.
She believes the role of an interior designer is pivotal in connecting humans within the built environment in a healthy, safe, and meaningful way, and in bringing multiple related industries together for creative collaboration and innovation.
When not designing, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, Zumba workouts, and abstract painting which is a fun way to play with color and be creative.

Abraham Wien
FOUNDER • PRINCIPAL • SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECT
Originally from Costa Rica, Abraham attended the University of Kansas on a scholarship; graduating with a professional degree in Architecture and a degree in Environmental Design. He is a LEED AP O+M and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers. Abraham has been a S. Florida resident for over 30 years. He has extensive experience and success in architectural design, environmental design, construction, project management, and real estate development. His experience and knowledge of the design and construction industry serves as an excellent example of how one navigates successfully in the rapidly evolving field of architecture and environmental design. Fluent in English and Spanish he has the capacity to seamlessly interact and understand the needs of our national and international clients.
Abraham’s passion for problem solving has led him to become an inventor and patent holder of various products and actively involved in the Inventors Society of America. He also enjoys yoga, pencil sketching and reading.
